A cult tastemaker whose wit and wisdom are shaping the way audiences discover and listen to music, Sydney DJ and internet personality Derrick Gee took an unlikely turn toward online stardom in 2022, when his response to a viral TikTok trend launched him toward more than 1.3 million followers across various social media platforms. After experience in music, TV production and creative direction and shows on NTS Radio and SiriusXM, Gee launched his YouTube music show Solid Air, where guests such as Lorde, Jamie xx, Mj Lenderman, Fred again and Max Richter have all dropped by for a chat.
