As people migrated from the Middle East and North Africa to Europe ans USA their music gradually changed the sound of their host’s music. Jazz has always sought new and fertile ground for improvisation and Middle Eastern music has recently relished the freedom provided by the West.

Due to popular demand, FJD will be presenting a 4 HOUR program about how African-based and European music influence Middle Eastern music (and the reverse).
