Arts Wednesday 26 April 2017

April 25, 2017

Andy Bromberger returns at 10:40 am in Part 5 of Music’s Mechanical Make-Up, this week talking about the bass.

At 11:00 am I will be joined in the studio by Carol Beales, a tour guide of Cockatoo Island. The National Trust of Australia is sponsoring National Heritage Month across Australia and tours of Cockatoo Island are featured as part of Sydney’s offerings.

I will also play an interview I recorded in 2014 with Giles Waterfield. Giles was an eminent curator, art historian and writer and led a tour I did in England entitled Royal Residences. Giles tragically passed away last November and this repeat interview is a tribute to him.

Music this week will follow Andy’s lead and feature the bass.

Do keep me company.
