My name is Phillip Gazis-MIller and I am a year 10 student at Lindfield Learning Village. I was incredibly excited when I found out I was going to Eastside Radio for my year 10 work experience, I have only just started day one and I am already having a great time. The people are nice and inviting.
I have been listening to radio from a young age, and rec
ently I have had an increase of interest in radio and what happens behind the sense, this experience will hopefully give me a better understanding of what its like to work in radio. I have had encouragement from my teachers, telling me that I talk to much, and that I have a face for radio.
I like most genres of music but when I get bored I jump to something else. It’s always good to have a mix. Saying that, I usually listen to more alternate songs and artists like Mac Demarco, and Lime Cordiale, but in contrast, I like listening to older music.
I can’t wait so see what the rest of the week is like and what new things I am going to learn.
Thanks again Eastside Radio for the wonderful opportunity.
