The new Scottish baronial castle in Bellevue Hill may look like a Hogwarts dreaming but is a very real student centre for The Scots College. Despite – or because of – its very traditional style, the building has generated some controversy. John Cockings, its architect, is a modernist, yet he comfortably designed this buiding he joins Elizabeth Farrelly to talk about the place of historical styles in contemporary architecture.
