This year during our Radiothon we want to say ‘THANK YOU’.

Thank you for being there when we’re on the air. Thank you for calling to say how much you’re enjoying our programs.

Thank you for staying listening when we sometimes get it a little wrong. And thank you for being a Supporter of Eastside Radio when we need it most.

So once again, cause you can never really say it enough, THANK YOU TO OUR AUDIENCE for their listening ears, open hearts and all their ongoing support.

Your support makes an enormous difference to our station. Because of your support, here at Eastside Radio we’ve been able to:

Build 3 new digital broadcast studios over the past ten years with a 4th at Bondi Pavilion on the horizon!
Introduce streaming, On Demand, new websites, groundbreaking apps and powerful in-house software programs securing the stations digital footprint and future relevance!
Expand our programming to now include 90 locally produced, unique and award winning shows covering music, arts and culture!
Be a voice for independent Australian jazz, blues and world music at a time when music and musicians like this were no longer played on the radio!
Enable access and opportunity to a diverse cross section from the community of all backgrounds and abilities to make sure all voices can be heard on the radio!
Provide a stepping-stone to the next generation of content creators and media professionals through our volunteer and intern program, many of whom go on to impressive careers elsewhere!
Produce countless events including record fairs, live jazz concerts, world music festivals, radio plays, kits days plus cycling and environmental fairs!

And that’s why it’s important to let you know how much you mean to us. Which is why this year we want to say Thank You for all you’ve done to help us achieve all that we’ve done in 39 years on the air.

So this is the time to celebrate our listeners and give them a reason to support Eastside during this year’s Radiothon and help us continue raising the bar even higher.
