Journey through ancient history and mythology with Arts Monday’s Jane Raffan, exploring “Alpha & Omega: Tales of Transformation“. The exhibition reveals exciting, mysterious and sensual tales of transformation from Greek and Roman mythology, and, in the process, teases out some surprising contemporary links.
Snr curator Michael Turner employs his love of storytelling throughout the exhibition, which is staged using the 26 letters of the Greek alphabet supported by one or more wonderful works from the university’s collections: highlights from the Nicholson alongside art, artifacts and specimens from the University Art Collection and the Macleay Museum.
