Judith Owen, the trailblazer jazz artist who has released over a dozen albums, has done it again with her new album, Suit Yourself.

Though she was born in Wales, Suit Yourself was recorded in Judith’s adopted hometown of New Orleans and is a blend of Jazz, Blues and Big Band, meshing those styles into a rich and unique musical arrangement that could only be Judith Owen.

Judith Owen has long championed her influences, particularly the women who inspired her to take up Jazz, like Nellie Lutcher and Julia Lee, and those influences are very much present in her most recent album.

With tracks like ‘At Your Door’, a love letter to her husband, a reimagining of the Dinah Washington classic, ‘Evil Gal Blues’, and the hit single, ‘That’s Why I Love My Baby,’ there’s plenty here for Jazz fans to sink their teeth into.

Fittingly, ‘Suit Yourself’ is an album about being bold and brash, and unashamedly yourself.
