I was lucky enough to attend the “Candlelight Concert – A Tribute to Coldplay” organized by Fever, and I can confidently say that it was an unforgettable experience. This unique musical event combined the brilliance of Coldplay’s music with the enchantment of candlelight. Here’s my personal take on this remarkable evening.
The venue and ambiance were a dream come true. The event was held at Town Hall Sydney adorned with countless candles, creating an atmosphere that was nothing short of enchanting. The setting set the perfect mood for an evening of soulful music.
The live orchestra delivered a breathtaking performance. They flawlessly captured the essence of Coldplay’s music, and every note resonated with the audience’s hearts. The renditions of songs like “Fix You,” “Yellow,” and “Viva La Vida” were beautifully crafted, and the musicians’ passion for the music was palpable in every stroke of the bow and pluck of the strings.
After each set of 3 songs, there was a little explanation about the next set and some background information about the songs. As we were coming to the end of the show, I was surprised by my favorite song, A Sky Full of Stars. It wasn’t in the setlist, and this really made my night complete.
One thing that I didn’t like was the drums. It didn’t feel like it fitted the other instruments, but that’s just my personal opinion. But other than that, it was a magical night.
In summary, the “Candlelight Concert – A Tribute to Coldplay” organized by Fever was a magical evening that seamlessly blended the brilliance of Coldplay’s music with the warm glow of candlelight. It was an enchanting experience for fans and newcomers alike, and it left me with a heart full of melodies and cherished memories. If you ever have the opportunity to attend such a mesmerizing event, I wholeheartedly recommend it. It’s a night that will touch your soul and leave you with a lasting appreciation for the power of music.
