Yesterday on Thursday Drive, Tony welcomed Stephen Hodge, the Director of We Ride Australia for National Advocacy.

We Ride Australia is based in Canberra, for over 20 years, their missions has been centered around advocating to empower decision makers and inspire all Australians to choose cycling. In 2017, it became a not-for-profit organisation.

In the Australian Federal Parliament, he is the only professional lobbyist focused on advocating for cycling. In this role, Stephen advocates for federal investment in cycling and works in strategic alliances across the political, health prevention, built environment and transport sectors. 

With Tony, Stephen discusses the importance of cycling for the Australian economy, the increased presence of e-bikes in major cities like Sydney as well as the health and environmental benefits.
