Some words we hear these days are “machine learning” and “automation”, but what do they actually mean, and where do they come from? In this episode, we take a closer look at the history of machine learning in automation. The origins of automation date back to the industrial revolution, and machine learning has played an important role in modern automation. Our guest Carlos Aguilera Cortes tells us the history of machine learning in automation and what the future of automation and AI may look like.
