Today, on Arts Thursday, Maisy and Paula welcomed David Spicer, manager of the Bondi Theatre Company.

David Spicer was an ABC journalist for 30 years before becoming a theatrical agent. He also work for the Association of Community Theatre. In 2017, he created the Bondi Theatre Company with a goal to “entertain, develop new, update old work and provide opportunities for hungry but very talented artists to earn income”.

Starting August 30th, the Fifth Comedy and Cabaret Season will start at the Bondi Pavilion Theatre. David Spicer and the team at Bondi Theatre Company have worked to gather many talented artists to perform until September 6th !

The Comedy and Cabaret Season will open with an evening all about local talents on August 30th. It will include the Sugar and Spice jazz and pop band, Rebecca Spicer, Justin Rynne and many more. This is your opportunity to discover amazing artists from all around Sydney.

The Bondi Pavilion Company is dedicated to supporting amateur theatre by giving them a platform to share their art in order to inspire other theatre to do the same. This is a chance to support them and their commitment to the art of theatre.
