Michael’s work stands out from the other murals on the Bondi Sea Wall because it is an impressionist landscape painting as opposed to the highly coloured graphic murals. He gets his ideas from painting in national parks (particularly in the Blue Mountains) and bringing his sketches back to the studio to turn into outdoor public art. He combines acrylic outdoor paints with aerosol cans to create the final work.
