Jacqueline Munro is a rising political figure in New South Wales (NSW), Australia. She is a member of the NSW Legislative Council, representing the Liberal Party, and currently serves as the Shadow Assistant Minister for the Arts, Innovation, Digital Government, and the 24-Hour Economy. Munro is notable for being the youngest Liberal woman ever elected to the NSW Legislative Council and the first LGBTQI+ woman parliamentarian from the NSW Liberal Party.

Raised in the Sutherland Shire, Munro has a background in international studies from the University of Sydney and has previously worked in PR and communications. She has a strong focus on issues such as innovation, economic development, housing affordability, and clean energy. Munro supports reducing housing construction costs and is an advocate for clean energy initiatives, believing that NSW has the potential to become a global leader in renewable energy​(Liberal Party NSW)​(Jacqui Munro Mlc).

Her political journey includes serving as the NSW Women’s Liberal Council president and overcoming challenges within her party to secure her position in the Legislative Council​(Parliament NSW)​(Women’s Agenda).

Jacqueline isn’t just an amazing politician, She is also a passionate musician who is incredibly invested in the preservation and cultivation of the arts.
