HOT JAZZ PICNIC HAS NOW BEEN POSTPONED TO FEBRUARY 2024. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

Katie Thorne is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who was born and raised in rural NSW (Wiradjuri Country). She describes her music as “sing-in-the-car songs, cry-on-the-walk-home songs, songs so personal I can’t quite believe I’m sharing them.” Her unique sound blends jazz with elements of pop, funk, and soul.

Katie will be performing at the Hot Jazz Picnic on Saturday 25 November, at Lyne Park in Rose Bay. The event, which is on from 12-8pm, is a celebration of jazz, with Sydney Harbour as the backdrop.

She is interviewed on Time & Space, where she talks about her experiences and her journey as a singer-songwriter.
