Filmdirector Paul Middleditch joins Dave Brown in the show Cinemascape to talk about his newest film: “Uproar”. The 2023 film follows Josh, a 17 year-old student, who is forced to get off the fence he has actively sat on all his life to stand up for himself, his whanau (family) and his future in this heartwarming story of identity. Paul reveals that this amazing film is based of his own youth of growing up as a misfit. He has turned his own experience into an amazing film about insane character development. Paul tells about the enthusiasm of the actors and other crewmembers, and even gives away some of his favourite lines from the movie.

Paul Middleditch is joined by Hamish Bennet to direct this film to the amazing production that it has become. He shares his beliefs on the advantages and disadvantages of having two film directors, and what positive outcomes that had on the film.
