The plastic softener Bisphenol A or BPA is invisible, but it’s almost ubiquitously abundant in the environment. We regularly ingest it with our diet, as it is commonly used in water bottles and food packaging. BPA is also called an endocrine disrupter as it messes with our hormonal system. But how does it work and what exactly does it do to our body?
