It’s an exciting time for Sydney saxophonist Joel Sena.

From early exposure to jazz and blues through school to completing his studies in a Bachelor of Music, Joel is about to launch his debut self-titled EP with host of musical talent to accompany him.

Lucky for us, Joel took some time out of his world to step into ours. Calling into The New Thing ahead of his launch at Slyfox on Thursday 24th November, Joel talked us through his life so far, his many creative processes for this EP and what’s on the musical horizon for 2017.
