It might also be reaching listeners who might be listening in their car or are otherwise on the move, and aims to be uplifting.

Covering jazz and jazz-related music, including some isolated blues tracks and current jazzy styled music, it offers music that the audience can bounce along with or hum and enjoy.

Music is the focus and talk is limited to introductions and short commentary on the musicians, composers, awards etc of the artists and CDs featured.
