The Story

After a horrific road accident Dahlia found herself with acute pain and severe hip injury requiring an operation costing $29,000! Her health insurance couldn’t cover it and she was turfed out into the public system having to wait in line for a year and more, which puts her survival at risk…

Dahlia has no family in Australia, she lives alone, now walking with the aid of crutches, putting up with debilitating pain, continuing her activity in the community and determined to keep performing, which is her life line!

Dahlia has been performing in Australia for the last 45 years. She sang in every major venue in Australia including Melbourne’s National Theatre and Sydney Opera House.

Many of her shows, over the years, being charities and fundraisers. Please help her to continue spreading her love and joy through song as long as she can!

The Show – Love Makes The World Go ‘Round

Loving friends and colleagues of Dahlia are participating in this awesome variety event: A fundraising show with the support of Camelot lounge, fellow musicians and guest artists, to help finance her operation. All produced and compared by Dahlia’s dear friend Fay Sussman.
