The Jazz Groove Mothership Orchestra was formed in 2003 to provide an 0utlet for talented composes to have their work expressed by creative musicians. It has featured the work of both Australian and International composers. It is considered to be Australia’s premier jazz orchestra.

The Orchestra’s latest CD release in early 2016 is “Fiddes VS Tinkler” it is a work by composer Andy Fiddes to feature trumpet player Scott Tinkler, it further affirms it’s artistic mission oim highlighting talent at the cutting edge of the Australian jazz scene. Not only the soloists, but all members of the orchestra are band leaders and composers in their own right.
