September 05, 2018

WHAT’S ON TODAY’S PROGRAM:

Join Maisy Stapleton for stories in the arts.

This year’s Sydney Architecture Festival focuses on Great Architecture – What makes a building great?

Architect Angelo Candalepas joins to talk about The Architecture Symposium, featuring 21 of Australia’s leading architects who will discuss their buildings and demonstrate the maturity and complexity of Australian Architecture today.

What are the directions of this architecture and why is it ‘great’?

Tune in soon after 10:30 for the conversation …

Then meet the second of the 2018 Woollahra Council’s Artists in Residence program.

Rone Waugh who is also known as Wu Long, has worked across a range of media and genres and spends his time between China and Australia.

China has been the inspiration for much of his recent work.

Discover more about Rone’s practice and the value of his residency at the EJ Ward Centre, Paddington, as Woollahra Council is about to call for applications for residencies in 2019.
