Want to see what the future of Australian Jazz looks like? The collaboration between Mosaic and Spectra will take care of you in the journey through Australian orchestral jazz.


Mosaic, with its vibrant 10-piece contemporary jazz ensemble, is rapidly emerging as an exciting force in the Sydney jazz scene. See Mosaic perform and premiere original compositions written for the band by Australian composers under 25, culminating in a uniquely youthful and energetic sound.
Spectra Jazz Orchestra, a combination of young women and gender diverse musicians, that builds a bridge between music education and the professional music world. Dive into the fun and diverse range of jazz and jazz-adjacent works.
Friday 11th of April
Love the sounds of Brazilian Funk and Soul? End Notes will take the stage to fuse samba and Brazilian rhythms with R&B and jazz. A sweeping collective of musicians led by bass player Ed Lyons that has grown into a Sydney institution out of a series of longstanding soul and jazz residencies over the last 8 years.


Get ready for the dancefloor as Pedro Licio and Maite Inae, will bring an 11-piece band featuring a full horn section and percussion, filled to the brim of positive energy.
Featuring the music of icons Gilberto Gil, Djavan, Black Banda Rio, Tim Maia and Sandra de Sa, this is a unique chance to hear these incredible tunes performed by a live band.
