Arts - Tuesday

Arts Tuesday is Sydney radio’s liveliest and most informative arts show. Suzi and Di explore the latest news and views on what’s happening and about to happen in the performing and visual arts, and also dedicated to having a good time. Punctuated by eclectic music, expert opinion, much laughter and wide-ranging interviews with our finest creative artists, Arts Tuesday is the only place to be on a Tuesday morning.

Diana is one of Sydney’s best-known and most respected arts commentators. She has contributed to the Sydney Morning HeraldThe Australian, the Sunday Telegraph and ABC 702. She was arts editor of The Bulletin and began her career at Time Out, London. She is the voice behind the influential website www.stagenoise.com – 12 years and counting. She has been on the boards of ToeTruck Theatre and Belvoir St and was co-founder of the Sydney Theatre Awards, now in its 14th year. Diana’s Covid19 lockdown activity has been writing, rewriting and workshopping her stage play The Sooterkin, through the online Hope New Works Initiative.

Suzi has loved opera since she sang Orpheus in her Oxford high school production of Gluck’s Orpheus et Eurydice. She is currently working her way through The Met’s 700 online productions, in the absence of Opera Australia – to which company she is dedicated. She was a book editor at Angus and Robertson when they were actual publishers and was mentored by the great Beatrice Davis. Suzi has also worked in public relations and advertising and loves the arts in all its forms.
