In the first half hour, Sue Jowell returns with Part 3 of The Musical – More than Entertainment. She starts with Showboat, which is the exception to the backstage musicals we talked about in episode 2. Sue then tells us about the musicals she calls Ground Breakers: Pal Joey and Cabin in the Sky.

My special guest at 11:00 am is Bob Kearney, an academic who has dedicated his working life to fisheries and their management, both here in Australia and overseas. I asked him about the state of our oceans, rivers and estuaries, about fish farming and fish numbers around the world. You will enjoy listening to this knowledgeable, intelligent and practical guru!
