Arts Wednesday 16 February 2022

February 15, 2022

This week, in Part 3 of our continuing series on the Moral Rights of Architects, Ed Lippmann introduces us to Philip Thalis, architect and former member of the Sydney City Council. He argues that lawyers, as much as developers, are responsible for the moral rights of architects being denied.

Last week, when I was in Canberra, I was able to record a conversation with truffle farmer, Barbara Hill, of Macenmist, which is  just out of Bredbo in the Southern Highlands. The story of truffle farming in general and her experience in particular is fascinating. Learn about climate, soil, trees, growing cycle and, of course, the dogs!

I don’t know about you, but lately everyone you speak to seems to be short and curt. Perhaps COVID has got to us and I thought it might help to turn our attention with music with positive lyrics.
