Hello everybody

My name is Kim H. and I’m from Mainz, near Frankfurt, Germany. Since I have traveled a lot of places in my 18 years of life but never Australia, I thought I would explore Australia and especially Sydney after finishing school last year, because I have always wanted to visit Australia.

I will be interning at Eastside Radio for the next 16 weeks and I am excited for this journey! This internship is really going to help me decide which professional path I want to go and also showing me to be open towards new people and accept different world views.

I am excited to live in a different city, especially a city like Sydney, and grow from this experience, not only personally but hopefully also musically since I usually mostly listen to rap, pop and hip-hop music and not too much jazz. But who knows, maybe I’ll go home loving jazz! Listening to music in general makes me feel alive and you won’t find me without music.
