In the 1970s, Jack Mundey, leading the NSW Builders’ Labourers Federation, made international history with the GREEN BANS. Mundey was derided as a 'commie rat' but, together with the union, saved Kelly’s Bush, The Rocks, Woolloomooloo, Victoria Street and Centennial Parklands. Who shows such determined leadership in Sydney now?
