From October 23th to November 2nd, Sydney will be hosting the International Women’s Jazz Festival celebrating Jazz and women’s creativity organized by SIMA.
SIMA (Sydney Improvised Music Association) is a non-profit organisation advocating for Jazz to be heard in more places across Australia. This is your opportunity to discover and experience Jazz with global and local artists. Click Here to find out more about SIMA.
The Japanese composer Hiromi will open the 2025 edition of the Sydney International Women’s Jazz Festival. On October 23rd at 7:30PM at the Sydney City Recital Hall, Hiromi will open the festival with a beautiful mix of jazz and classical music.
Hiromi has not performed in Sydney since 2016, this is your opportunity to attend one of her amazing performances. Click here to get tickets to her concert.
Additionally, this year’s headliner will be Samara Joy, a young and talented rising-star Jazz singer. At the young age of 25, she has already won five Grammy Awards. She will be performing at the Joan Sutherland Performing Centre in Penrith on October 23rd and at the City Recital Hall in Sydney on the 24th.

Each year, the festival attracts thousands of people. For 14 years now, SIMA has been organizing this gathering to bring together old and new fans of Jazz and listen to many talented artists.
