Come celebrate Lazybones 12th birthday on the 5th of July with bands you will not want to miss. Having 3 different bands on the same night, why would you want to miss this?

The Cuban Social Club, led by Richard Ortega, performs classic Cuban genres like Son, Cha Cha Cha, and Guaracha with a dynamic band of talented musicians. Their vibrant, percussion-rich sound brings traditional Cuban music to life.

Cuban Social Club is created to make everyone who loves Latin Music dance and enjoy, but especially Cuban Music. So if you want to dance (who wouldn’t want to dance to Latin music?)

Tropivibes is a 7 piece tropipop (tropical pop music) vibe which anchors itself in the roots of Colombian music while incorporating a more contemporary pop arrangement. Party rhythms and tunes from Colombia and surrounding countries in Latin America (if you see the word party you its gonna be good).

Steve Hunter Trio a virtuoso electric bass player and band leader for several decades. His current band has featured regularly at Lazybones for the past 9 years

All these three bands are playing on the 5th of July, come on down and celebrate Lazybones 12th birthday with dancing and good vibes going.

15th of July

Steve Hunter Trio boasting celebrated musicians: Matt McMahon – keys, Andy Gander – drums + Steve Hunter – bass. Steve is an award winning and prolific composer with over 130 of his tunes released on various albums.

25th of July

Mister Ott, led by saxophonist Matthew Ottignon, is a Sydney-based jazz-funk ensemble blending Eastern melodies, Afrobeat, dub, and psychedelic Ethio-jazz. Their third album In the Flow features Afro-Cuban rhythms, future disco, and hypnotic grooves designed for the dance floor. The band includes Ellen Kirkwood (trumpet), Ben Panucci (guitar), Daniel Pliner (keys), Dave Symes (bass), and Carlos Adura (drums).

Plus there’s Bridie King & The Blasters ‘Juke Joint Ball’, Lvl 1 – Genevieve Brown Quartet and Little Feat – and many more this July! Come on down don’t be shy, there’s great music and a chance to dance till the morning!!
