SmartFone Flick Fest is Australia’s international smartphone film festival for filmmakers of all ages. All you need is a phone or a tablet and a good story.
Entries close for this year’s festival on midnight Saturday 1 August.
Today we meet co-founder Angela Blake who’ll talk us through all the categories and prizes. This year they have added a new Iso category (3 mins max) for stories shot within local lockdown laws. Other categories include short films (20 mins max), feature films, VR & 360 films and SF3 Kids.
Also Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney, Jess Scully joins us to talk about public art in Sydney.
Expressions of Interest are currently being sought for an AIDS memorial to be built in Greens Park Darlinghurst.
Other public art projects include George St., Chinatown, Green Square and The Block.
