Open Academy Short Course Winter Term

Have you had a long-time passion for music and learning?  

The Open Academy Winter Term is now open for enrolment and we have many courses to choose from!

If jazz guitar is your thing then check out our Jazz Guitar class taken by the jazz guitarist Sam Rollings. Our small class size allows for lots of jamming time!

Our Impro Basics class is designed for musicians with no background in improvisation but have an understanding of chords, can read music and want to learn the basics of improvisation. This is a small combo class.

OR, if you’re game, you could jump straight into the deep end and audition for one of our Jazz Ensembles on any instrument – and we are always keen to have more horn players if that’s you!

As well as classes in jazz, we are offering classes like ; Soul ensemble, Blues Guitar as well as classes in songwriting, singing, music theory and music technology.

Term starts 19 July and if you enrol by 21^st  June you’ll receive a 12% discount!

Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, we have you covered! Classes run for 2 hours each week for 8 weeks. Face to Face classes are held at the iconic Sydney Conservatorium of Music in Macquarie St Sydney which is an inspiring place to learn – and you will be learning from some of the best tutors in Sydney!
