Sydney Underground Streaming Session (SUSS) kicked off in mid 2020 as a project to keep musicians and event organisers alike working during the pandemic. Founder Ben Eadie, along with a number of audio/visual and live streaming technicians, developed the SUSS website and started streaming shows direct from their small studio located in the Sound Works Studios rehearsal rooms, Marrickville.

Initially the shows were closed to the public however with the lifting of Covid restrictions and constant requests from the public to attend the shows SUSS eventually shifted to the Factory Theatre and has been streaming their live shows to both a live and virtual audience ever since.

Over the 12 months SUSS has had the privilege to present some outstanding Sydney acts including the likes of Liz Martin, Dog Trumpet, The Zoology, The Loud Hailers, Wawawow, Svntax Error, Rubber Necker, White Knuckle Fever, On the Stoop, Charlie McMahon, Trevor Brown, Ben Fink, The Soul Movers, Louis Burdett, The OzSkas and many many more.

This Saturday, June 12th, SUSS is proud to present one of the highlight performances of their calendar year with an extraordinary double bill featuring Rufino and the Coconuts & Mic Conway and Robbie Long.

Rufino & the Coconuts – Inspired by classic surf and Caribbean music, with a touch of 80s post-punk, smooth jungle disco and a pinch of B-Grade thriller soundtracks, the rocksteady rhythms on Centroturist promise tropical bone-shaking good times.

Mic Conway & Robbie Long – In a circus of comedy, music and magic, Mic Conway and Robbie Long present a hilarious array of idiosyncratic songs that will make your jaw drop, toes tap and sides split.

Hosted by the irreverent Benito Di Fonzo and the explosive Christa Hughes.
