There’s not a day goes past where I don’t listen to music. It has made such a big impact on me and showed me the amazing features of movies as well. I remember watching ‘Mamma Mia’ and ‘The Sound of Music’ for the first time with my grandma and being in total awe from the stunning music. Although I am useless at playing instruments or singing, I have always wanted to work with music. I’m so excited to be working in an environment such as Eastside Radio station and experience first hand about the wonders of broadcasting and radio operations.
About me?
I am 16 years old and I have lived in over 12 homes in places all over the world (Including America and Melbourne) but have finally settled down in NSW, where I hope to stay for a long time. My parents embedded music into my head ever since I was young and taught me every single detail about every song. I love listening to people and exchanging stories, making me a bit chatty sometimes!
I’ve gone through many different phases of music genres but my current favourite is indie rock and smooth pop. My favourite song of all time is ‘Back against the wall’ by Cage The Elephant (The weirder the name the better!). However it ties closely with ‘Somebody to love’ by Queen and ‘Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds’ by the Beatles.

My Interests–
I’m so passionate about movies and music, all of the walls in my room are covered with tonnes of albums and movie posters! I am obsessed with sustainable practices and helping others, especially when it comes to ending fast fashion and thrifting second hand clothes.
Why Radio?
The car radio in my opinion is the best way of listening to music, you never know what you’re going to get and you find new songs everyday! I’m currently studying Live Production and Technical Services (entertainment) in hopes to pursue a career in music production or film production. I know that Eastside radio will give me the amazing opportunity to explore the world of music broadcasting and the technology behind it!
