In this scintillating ep of Breaking Waves (‘a show for the Waking Brave’) Shai & Geoff banter about what each other has been up to, and as usual end up traversing tangents, dead ends and autobahns that would see less experienced radio professionals skid out of control into a convoy of oncoming trucks. But – to adroitly mix a metaphor, like some kind of weird omelette cocktail – Shai and Geoff grab the runaway train by the horns, pull the bull by the tail, put Schrodinger’s Cat back in its box and decide … that they’ll probably have Sushi for lunch after the show. But first!! … they have a great yarn with this week’s stellar special guest, the artist and painter Christina Rogers.

Christina’s great – a wonderful and much lauded painter who also happens to teach Shai art. Christina and the boys really sink their teeth into the canvas in an enlightening chat which could go on for HOURS but sadly has to end because Shai, Geoff and Christina have to head out and get Sushi. Raw and succulent radio!
