This episode, Geoff and Shai took a road trip – or should that be boat trip? Continuing the theme of socialising, the boys visited scenic Cockatoo Island for a day of fun, friends, and tiny meals. Shai and Geoff met up with Gig Buddies to learn about what this innovative organisation does and why. They also interviewed Eastside’s own Chelsea Deeley, host of The New Thing and Gig Buddies volunteer. Nothing could keep Shai from his real quest though: Finding a proper dinner! And Eastside poet laureate Geoff treats us to another poem about a close relative of the cockatoo: Corellas.
