‘Not Everything But Enough’ from Alister Spence Trio is Eastside Radio’s Album Of The Week.

The Alister Spence Trio is: Lloyd Swanton on double bass, Toby Hall on drums and glockenspiel, and Alister Spence himself on piano, samples and music box. The Sydney trio draw on more than 20 years performing together, ‘Not Everything But Enough’ being their seventh release to date.

‘Not Everything But Enough’ is a double album. The first disc features seven tracks of a more traditional song structure. The second is a 21 track collection of more experimental improvisational ideas from the trio, as well as solo piano improvisations.
