Open since 1981 they Sydney Comedy Store hosts the shows of world class acts each week and is the heart of comedy shows in Sydney. Open between Thursday and Saturday it is definitely worth seeing a famous comedian up close and personal.

Cafe Lounge

Surry Hills weekly stand up-comedy showcase, in a cozy, comfy bar, restaurant & performance space. Short n Sharp is a short comedy show on Sundays @ 7pm which includes Happy Hour for $5 entry and the regular show on Monday’s @ 8pm only costing $10.

Open Mic and Stand Up-Comedy 

Open mic and stand up comedy is seeing the newbies from the stand-up school in the city.

Comedy at Lunch: Hungry for a comedy especially during your lunch break. In the CBD open mic performers give out all laughs whilst eating your Salad sandwich.

WHEN: Monday-Friday 12:30-1:15pm or 1:15pm-1:45pm

Quick Comedy: 75 minute show with 5 or more Comics, including open mic performers. So hold on tight because it gonna be one hell of a night of laughs.

Mic in Hand @ The Friend in Hand

The Chippendale Hotel is a small staged area with stacks of comedy shows through out the week and the popular comedy podcast ‘The Little Dum Dum Club’ with Karl Chandler and Tommy Dassalo. The Chippendale is a great way to have a drink and bite with your mates and a laugh later on.
