I’m Ben Berg. Let me introduce myself as a new intern at Eastside FM.

More about me:
I’m 21 years old; I’m an oncoming senior student at the University of Pittsburgh, set to graduate next year with a degree in Liberal Studies (focusing on music and other creative fields). In my free time, I like to create my own music, explore, go for long walks outdoors (especially with my dog!), volunteer, and learn as much as possible!

I’m originally from Nottingham, Pennsylvania. I’m interning abroad here in Sydney for the next two months! During that time, I’m excited to start working with the incredible people here, and I’m eager to learn more about radio, sound, production, and music!


Why Eastside FM?
I’m a music lover at heart, and there’s nothing better to me than sharing that enthusiasm with others! Radio has always been an interest of mine as someone who likes to connect with others through creativity and music. Though I can be nervous, quiet, and shy at times, especially when one is first getting to know me, I’m always eager and passionate about learning new things, meeting new folks, and challenging myself.

Eastside FM is an amazing place, full of wonderful and creative people. I’m grateful for the opportunities provided to me here, and I’m certain I will learn a lot! In the coming weeks, I’m excited to learn, grow, and connect with many new friends and music enthusiasts!
