In celebration of 40 years on air since 1983, Eastside Radio is hosting a series of intimate concerts at Low 302 presented by your favourite presenters.

Every month we’re inviting a selection of various programs to curate a night of live music at this special venue on Crown St in Surry Hills.

To kick things off in June Susan Gai Dowling and Sally London present Girl Talk.

Susan Gai Dowling is Sydney’s ‘First Lady of Jazz’, dripping with nostalgia and six albums in her back pocket has been in constant demand as a jazz singer/songwriter/pianist at major venues and festivals in Australia and overseas for decades.

“It was a joy to encounter once again the easy flare with which she breathes vitality into a song”. – John Shand, Sydney Morning Herald.

From Birdland in New York to the Tangier International Jazz Festival in Morocco as well as a release on the EMI label, Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Sally London has a string of original compositions, which have been finalists in Australian and American song writing contests alongside 5 studio albums.

“Sally’s brazen, often playfully funny sensuality is like a splash of ice water underneath a desert sun. Her voice, sliding in between a sex-kitten purr and a soulful croon, is what microphones were made for.” – Music Industry News Network (USA)
