Hi my name is Jess Williams, I am 14 years old and have a current interest in working in radio. I’ve being looking for a great radio station to volunteer at and heard about Eastside Radio station. I thought it would be a great place to learn about the radio station and also giving a helping hand through out this week and possibly in future.  Also this volunteering experience could help with my confidence in my social life and working environment.  A BIG thanks for bringing me along for a insight into Eastside Radio.

Here are a couple of basic things about me that most people find boring:

1. I’m a quiet person
2. I ‘m a nerd- I really love watching classic Sci-fi entertainment such as Doctor Who, Star Wars and Sherlock. Ask me a question about Doctor Who and at the snap of my fingers I know the answer straight away. I am a Whovian.
3. I love comedy- I love all types of humor, from comedians such as Joel Creasey, Matt Okine, Paul Foot and many more. In the future I want to become a comedian and perform all around the world once I finish school. I have already participated in a teens comedy competition called Class Clowns in New South Wales and I made it as a wild card act to the finals.

4. I love going to the beach!!!!! Seriously I love swimming and surfing, its the best combination in the universe is putting sand and salt water together. The best beach you could visit is Bondi as it is wonderful and full of different people and popular from the lifeguards (obviously from their TV show).

5. Lastly I love listening to the radio in my spear time.

I know what you’re thinking about after reading this ‘such a nerdy version of Ellen DeGeneres, so much so that if you see me on the street you can probably shout out ‘Nerd Alert! It’s Ellen!!!!’ (she’s alright really…actually I don’t find her that funny…)
