1. Miles Davis’ album Birth of the Cool (2nd Feb)
Get ready to be enthralled by the music of Miles Davis, including his greatest jazz albums such as ‘Birth of the Cool’ and ‘Kind of Blue’.
The Birth of the Cool Orchestra features some of Australia’s finest jazz virtuosos:
Greg Carger (trumpet), Julian Gough (Alto), RhysMoore (Trombone), Gordon Rhytmeister (Drums), Matt McMahon (Piano), Dave Quinn (Bass), Sam Golding (Tuba), Chris Davis (French Horn) & Mike Williams (Bari).
2. La Tertulia (14th Feb)
This Valentine’s day bring your loved ones to the popular Latin pop-rock band La Tertulia.
Formed in 2019, they perform 80s, 90s and 2000s hits mainly for the Spanish-speaking local community but essentially everyone is welcome to attend this celebration of art, culture and community.
3. Joe Cocker Story (16th Feb)
The Joe Cocker story is a journey through time and music exploring some of the British blues singer’s hits such as Feelin’ Alright, Leave Your Hat On, Delta Lady, The Letter, Unchain My Heart, You Are So Beautiful, A Little Help From My Friends among many more.
Join the audience on the 16th to get the live experience.
4. The Ray Man three (12th Feb)
The 20th Anniversary of Ray Man Three is here! Travelling from Berlin to Sydney for the first time in two decades, the trio is reunited with Ray Mann’s return, Joel Burton on bass and Ross Ferraro on drums!

5. The Subterraneans (13th Feb)
Widely renowned both nationally and internationally, this popular band is well-known for its original brand of Funk, World Groove and rock-jazz! Performing at the renowned Wangaratta Jazz and Blues Fest and Kuala Lumpur International Jazz Festival this band of virtuosi is creating their own mark on their preferred genres.
Their debut album won best blended album at the 2011 Australian ‘Bell’ Awards and have been on the success track ever since!
6. The Greasy Chicken Orchestra ft Justine Clarke (27th Feb)
Joined by renowned childrens’ writer and performer, Justine Clarke has been a presenter at Play school for over two decades. She is better known to Australian television audiences for her roles in Love My Way, Tangle and the Time Of Our Lives In theatre although in theatre she’s had critical success in Julia.
The GCO has been associated with music from Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Lil Hardin Armstrong, The John Kirby Sextet, Raymond Scott, Scott Joplin, Don Redman, and Duke Ellington. This time, they hope to bring new tunes as well as the better known, I Cakewalked With A Zombie (Earshift).
