Hey everyone – I am Molly from London, UK. I’ve just finished travelling up the East Coast of Australia. I’ve always wanted to live abroad. Australia has been on my bucket list for a long time. I’m excited to see what Eastside Radio has to offer.

A little about me

I grew up in busy London rather than Sydney. I expected the weather to be nicer out here, but it is tipping down while I write this. I studied Film Production at university, so I have always been creative. I love the outdoors as well, and I taught sailing back in London. Also love skiing, mountains, walking, sunsets, sunrises and travelling.

Why film and radio

I’ve always been passionate about video-making, social media production, marketing and advertising production. I am hoping that this work experience will build on my interests. I’ve always enjoyed creating videos myself and taking good photos. I’ve always loved listening to music. I was in an orchestra when I was a child.

What brought me to Australia

I have always known I wanted to return to Australia ever since I visited at the age of 6, but the power of social media is what really led me here. It has always looked so beautiful out here, and I was getting bored of the mild weather in London.

What I hope to do

I hope to learn more about Eastside Radio and explore Sydney more. I also want to explore more of Australia too. I hope that, from this internship, I will find my path in the creative industry.
