Join us for the final “Festival of Paris” as we gather to honor Paris Pompor’s vibrant life and legacy!
Come celebrate and honor Paris Pompor through a night of music at the Golden Age Cinema & Bar in Surry Hills on Sunday, the 22nd of June. See Trevor Elchino and DJ Jön of AfroBrasiliana — a collective of which Paris was an integral part — alongside other DJ friends on the decks, including DJ Satva, DJ DIOLA, Hober Mallow, DJ Josie Styles, and BoogieMonster.

Paris Pompor, co-founder of Groovescooter, was known for his work with 2SER, a local not-for-profit radio station, including his time on the show Jumping The Gap. Paris contributed to the station for many years. He was additionally well-known for his producer, dance, and DJ skills, and was undoubtedly a talented contributor to Sydney’s radio and DJ scenes. Most importantly, he is remembered for his kind, vibrant personality.

Celebrate this legacy with us on June 22nd. Enjoy music from many different artists in this tribute to Paris Pompor for free from 3:00pm to 10:00pm. At 5:00 PM, the Golden Age Cinema’s doors will open for a special screening of Maxxxy T’s Reel of Paris, featuring music and visuals that capture Paris and his creativity.
