Five-time Grammy Award winning jazz pianist and world-renowned singer, Diana Krall, will perform a fourth and final show at the iconic Sydney Opera House, accompanied by the exceptional Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
Touring Australia as part of her Wallflower World Tour, this additional Concert Hall performance will be held on Saturday January 30. Touring in support of her latest album (her twelfth release), the ARIA Jazz Chart #1 Wallflower, the shows will highlight Diana Krall breaking new ground with her interpretations of some of the greatest pop songs of all time, as well as favourites from her extensive catalogue.
In additional to the four Sydney Opera House shows accompanied by Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Krall will also perform twice at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and under the stars at Kings Park and Botanic Garden, Perth, with her band and a full orchestra.Adelaide and Canberra audiences will be treated to Krall performing with her band and a string section. Diana Krall continues to celebrate her illustrious career, now spanning more than a decade and yielding multi-awards. She sold more than 15 million albums worldwide, she is the only jazz singer to have eight albums debut at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. For her last tour in Australia in February 2014 she has played to an international audience of millions – including headlining The Montreal International Jazz Festival last year in front of more than 100,000 of her most loyal fans.
