Since forming in 2017, the ‘D.I.T.S.O.M’ ensemble has played sold out shows at a multitude of major venues including the Sydney Opera House Studio, Camelot Lounge and The Basement.

The show brings standout musicians and vocalists who stay true to the soulful, sultry and sophisticated tunes of the Motown era. The authenticity of the artists along with the driving rhythms, iconic melodies and sensibility of Motown music is a real celebration of the rich history of Motown.

Motown Records, founded in 1959, evolved it’s distinct sound as a vanguard of creativity and collaboration in the tumultuous cultural landscape of the period. The music hailing from the record company developed and flourished in the 1960s, becoming an undoubtedly compelling reflection of its place in time. Bringing together artists from all walks of life, Motown was and still is a triumph of collaboration, a unifying force in the face of cultural and racial division.
