The Conservatorium Open Academy’s Autumn Short Course Program Has Begun

Lovers of music, unite!

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music is always bustling with new programs, and with Autumn fast approaching, the time has come for the Autumn Short Course to commence.

The program welcomes adults of all ages, and classes will be delivered online or face to face, but either way, in real time. You, your fellow learners and your tutor will always be ‘present’, with no recorded content so you can always ask questions and get the feedback you need.

The singing classes will be in full swing, so whether you are into classical, jazz or contemporary styles, there is a class for you. If you’re a beginner, never fear – the Vocal Fundamentals class will have you covered.

Other classes include jazz and blues guitar, as well as classes in songwriting, composition, piano for beginners, music theory and music technology classes. Every class is covered by some of the best tutors Sydney has to offer.

The Conservatorium Open Academy’s flagship community education program will provide adults and life-long learners with entertaining, challenging and inspiring ways into the world of music and the Sydney Conservatorium’s vibrant culture.

The Autumn term begins on the 2nd May 2022. Classes run for 2 hours each week over an 8 week period.
