Community Billboard 11th-17th Sept
This weekly community billboard is proudly sponsored by the City of Sydney’s Plan for the future – Sydney 2030 – making our city more green, global and connected.
Now in its 8th year, Pyrmont Festival has assured its position as one of Sydney’s favourite outdoor food, wine and art festivals.
The headliner event in Pirrama Park attracts thousands of locals, tourists and visitors from around the country.
With wine tasting and purchasing, Sydney’s best food trucks, restaurant pop-ups, a craft beer garden, artisan produce, an exhibition of artworks from the prestigious Pyrmont Prize as well as from local school students, kids activities, big stage entertainment, a picturesque harbourside setting and more, this is definitely a weekend to highlight on the calendar.

It's Art, Darling
The Bobby Goldsmith Foundation has partnered with Kings Cross Library to bring you It’s Art, Darling. The free exhibition of artworks is produced by participants of the 2018 Art Phoenix program.
Art Phoenix is the only contemporary art program in Australia that is fully committed to both raising the awareness of HIV through visual arts projects, while also assisting artists living with HIV.
It’s Art, Darling addresses misconceptions about what it means to live with a chronic manageable disease and demonstrate that people living with HIV can live a long, healthy and creative life!

Kate Clarkson: A journey of a thousand emotions
Kate Clarkson was raised in the UK and educated in Switzerland before completing her formal arts degree at Bath University, England. She lives and works in Sydney as a full time artist.
Clarkson’s mastery of composition, contrast and colour conjures up an edible feast for the eyes.
Her huge vibrant works explode from the canvas, tantalising the senses, pushing and pulling the viewer in all directions. Her symphony of drama is created with every sweeping brush strokes. Her lively paintings are awash with wonderful juxtapositions of melancholic hues and happy splashes.
Clarkson enjoys working with oil paint because of its rich, tactile quality, as well as its viscosity, translucence and subtlety of colour.
