Arts Wednesday 8 June 2016

June 07, 2016

Dr Anna Kamaralli returns to Arts Wednesday at 10:40 am with another series on Shakespeare and, this year our topic is Margaret of Anjou. Anna is directing a new play about this wonderful woman and leading up to the performance, we learn about her, both in real life but also as Shakespeare portrayed her.

At 11:00 am, I am joined By Dr James Hunter from the Australian National Maritime Museum, talking about the quest for longitude, the subject of an exhibition at the museum entitled Ships, Clocks and Stars. It is a fabulous story and James tells it well!

Music this week draws it’s inspiration from the title of the exhibition: ships, clocks and stars.

I look forward to your company.
