This morning we start a new series entitled “Our Universe” with astrophysicist, Professor Geraint Lewis and Part 1 is The Depths of the Solar System at 10:40 am.
At 11:00 am, my special guest is historian, Laila Ellmoos – no stranger to Arts Wednesday. Laila is one of the curators of an exhibition at Carriageworks called The Great Strike. This started exactly 100 years ago in the Tramsheds at Randwick and the Eveleigh Railway Workshops, where Carriageworks are now. The strike snowballed and would have an impact felt decades afterwards. You will enjoy the conversation!
Music starts and finishes with the universe and in the middle, there are songs from the hits of 1917, the year of the strike.
As always, I look forward to your company.
